When I received this product, I was really anxious to see if my dogs would take it or if they even worked. There are so many that promise results and then you see none. This is veterinary recommended and formulated to include the needed vitamins to support an aging dog. My dog is 9 years old and my sons dog is 14, so I chose the dog with the oldest age. His name is Copper.
I opened the bottle and it had the scent of liver, which of course dogs love. The tablets are easy to chew and digest. Copper, sniffed just a bit and then took the tablet without any difficulty. I didn't even have to force him to take it. So apparently he liked the smell too and didn't mind consuming the tablet.
Now, the only thing so far I have noticed as far as improvements at this time is that Copper has more energy now than he did before starting the vitamins. Seems his coat is shinier as well. He is really old and don't move around a lot now days, however he has been moving around more. He is also more alert and does not sleep as much as he did. Sometimes when he was picked up it seemed his joints were sore and now it seems it doesn't bother him as much to pick him up. I have seen some improvement and hope it continues to help our little fella. I will continue using these vitamins until they are gone and reorder as needed.
The label of the bottle contains all the necessary information needed, the dosage amount by weight, the list of vitamins that are included, etc (included stock photo to list vitamins). Although these are made for dogs, if a human does consume one by mistake it is made of a formula that is safe for human consumption and it will not make you sick. Now let's hope that doesn't happen, but it is a nice feature of the product. No calling poison control if mistakenly consumed.
